Overview
In your role of the Restaurant Supervisor you will support the Manager & Assistant Manager of the daily operations and staff of the Restaurant with a specific focus on supporting and guiding your team, creating customer service obsessed atmosphere, Motivate and inspire the team, seek opportunities and ideas for business growth and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
As the Restaurant Supervisor you will help to create and support a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued, you will support the team with coaching, development and a lead by example attitude.
You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager & Assistant Manager to support one another.
You will be an ambassador for our company values, see the business as a whole and support other managers and departments where needed.
Objectives
· Ensure you and your team are giving the Customer the best experience possible and lead by example.
· Talk about the menu, attraction & our products with passion and knowledge – share your knowledge with the team.
· At the till point always tell customers of any offers or upgrades.
· Ensure the four magic words are always used.
· Observe your Team, always ensure consistency and give feedback where needed.
· Put yourself in the customers shoes and treat how you like to be treated.
· Ensure team understand their role & what is expected of them.
· Ensure new staff are made to feel welcome and supported
· Celebrate success
· Encourage everyone to share ideas
· Communicate well and clearly
· Show examples of an engaged employee & ensure team are doing the same.
· Give solutions to problems.
· Support with training and coaching.
· Talk positively to customers about our menu, attraction, products and services.
· Always ensure consistency and standards with displays and store cleanliness.
· Support your team product knowledge and awareness.
· Ensure all areas of the Restaurant maintain exceptional cleaning standards.
· Ensure health and safety checks are completed.
· Take responsibility for first aid in your dept.
· General housekeeping standards adhered too.
· Health and Safey exceptions met.
· Ensure staff hours are used productively.
· Seek opportunity to increase every transaction by suggesting an offer or upgrade, “Have you seen” “Have you tried”
· Come up with and encourage new ideas/promotions to increase the Restaurant performance.
· Minimise waste with good stock rotation
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
