Full job description

Job Summary
If you have the brush skills and an eye for detail, then we've got the walls here at Braddicks Leisure !

We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance painter and decorator to join our team.

This is a full-time permanent position and one which is responsible for the upkeep and appearance to a high standard across our property and venue portfolio

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a valid driving licence to facilitate transportation to different sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure a smooth finish.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and Braddicks Leisure standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and contractors regarding project progress.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repair work.

Experience

Have proven experience and/or possess a qualification in painting and decorating.
Good working knowledge of brands, materials and techniques is essential
A valid and clean driving licence is essential to enable travel between sites efficiently.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to painting and decorating tasks is essential.
Reliability and punctuality is a must
Close attention to detail as well as completing work to a high standard is essential
