Coroner’s Court Usher & Administrative Assistant (Temporary) South Wales Central Coroner Area

Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm (subject to change)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South Wales Central Coroner Area for a Coroner’s Court Usher & Administrative Assistant.

Reporting to the Senior Inquest and Administrative Officer, you will join the Coroner’s Administrative Support Team based at the Coroner’s Office, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd.

The successful candidate will provide Court Usher assistance to support the Coroner in the smooth running of Inquests and will provide administrative support directly to H.M. Coroner and his colleagues and the wider Administrative Support Team.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate sensitivity and flexibility in their approach to work, along with excellent organisational and administration skills. The role involves interacting with a wide range of stakeholders including Funeral Directors, Local Service Boards, Families, Solicitors and Witnesses.
