Duties:

To attend all of the choristers' scheduled rehearsal and services;
To keep a register of attendance at all rehearsals and services;
To be aware of each chorister's medical needs and respond to any sickness or special need whilst a chorister is in the cathedral's care;
To respond as required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of each chorister;
To log any incidents or illnesses, reporting to the Director of Music at the end of each session, or immediately as necessary;
To be aware of and act upon safeguarding responsibilities;
To prepare and supervise refreshments for the choristers;
To supervise robing and disrobing before and after services;
To ensure each child is safely collected by an authorised parent/guardian;
To supervise break times for the choristers;
To liaise with chorister parents as necessary;
To attend and provide support for choir trips, tours, recordings, and other events when the choristers are singing;
To attend meetings with the Director of Music when required;
To participate in training as required, including First Aid and Safeguarding;
To work within the cathedral's Health and Safety policy;
To carry out any other appropriate duties as directed by the Director of Music;
To work within the cathedral's ethos and the Church in Wales Dignity Charter.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
