Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Morning Security Concierge Officer to oversee the safety and security of our premises during the early hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to organisational safety protocols while maintaining a professional presence on-site.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular surveillance rounds to monitor all areas of the building doing physical patrols.
Maintain vigilance against unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism, implementing loss prevention measures as needed.
Monitor security alarms and respond promptly to any alerts or suspicious activity.
Record and report any incidents or irregularities accurately in security logs.
Assist with crowd control during busy periods or special events, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety standards.

Requirements

Prior experience in security or loss prevention is preferred but not essential.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Good observational skills with attention to detail.
Must be physically fit to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
This position is an early start - 05.30am to 14.00pm 5 days a week, you will also be expected to work occasional overtime on weekends.
You must be smart in appearance and have excellent communication skills, you will also need excellent Verbal & Written English.
You must be SIA Door Supervisor registered and be able to prove the last 5 years of work history as we vet to the BS7858 standard, you must also have a Driving Licence and access to a car to drive as this job has an early morning start.

Pay: £13.63 per hour
