We are seeking a Protective Security Analyst to support the delivery of protective security and protective intelligence services across a portfolio of UHNW and private client projects.
Based from Prevail’s London office, the role will support CPOs, Security Advisors, site teams and Prevail leadership by monitoring threats, assessing online exposure, producing practical security reporting and helping ensure protective security delivery is informed, discreet and responsive.
The role will involve open source research, media and social media monitoring, incident reporting, protective intelligence analysis, briefing production and operational coordination support. It may also involve occasional travel to client residences, operational sites and stakeholder meetings across the UK.
The successful candidate will need strong analytical judgement, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to turn information into clear operational insight for protective security teams.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor open source, media, social media and other relevant information sources for threats, incidents or developments that may affect clients, family members, residences, movements, events or wider protective security operations.

Assess online exposure, public information, concerning communications, persons of concern and other threat indicators relevant to UHNW and private client security.

Conduct threat triage and protective intelligence research relating to unwanted attention, hostile reconnaissance, suspicious activity, protest activity, crime trends, travel disruption and emerging risks.

Produce practical protective intelligence products, including threat updates, online exposure summaries, travel briefs, event briefs, incident summaries, persons of concern notes and site risk updates.

Support the identification, reporting and escalation of hostile reconnaissance, surveillance indicators, suspicious behaviour and other protective security concerns.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, tasks, actions, site information, risk issues, protective security observations and information requirements.

Support the Protective Security Operations Manager with planning for residences, movements, events, travel and changes to client requirements.

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of SOPs, post orders, site packs, briefing notes, escalation procedures and operational documentation.

Coordinate with CPOs, RST personnel, Security Advisors, site teams and internal stakeholders to gather information, confirm details and support effective reporting.

Support regular reviews of protective security delivery, including incident trends, operational gaps, information requirements and areas for improvement.

Handle sensitive client and operational information with discretion, accuracy and appropriate information security standards.

Support compliance, assurance and administrative activity where required, including training records, deployment records, documentation checks and evidence collation.

Provide practical analytical support to proposals, renewals, client reviews and new project mobilisation where required.
Requirements
Essential Requirements

Experience in intelligence analysis, security analysis, protective security, corporate security, risk management, law enforcement, military intelligence or a comparable analytical role.

Experience producing security, intelligence, threat assessment, protective intelligence, OSINT or risk reporting for operational security, protective security, law enforcement, military, corporate security or private client stakeholders.

Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and concise reports for operational and senior stakeholders.

Good understanding of threat assessment, protective security, hostile reconnaissance, surveillance awareness and incident reporting.

Ability to monitor information sources, identify relevant developments and assess their potential impact on clients, residences, movements or operations.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and discreetly.

Good judgement, maturity and discretion when working in sensitive private client environments.

Ability to work effectively with operational teams, analysts, managers and external stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing tasks, deadlines and information requirements.

Confidence using Microsoft Office, online research tools and basic data management processes.

Ability to work from a London office and travel occasionally to client sites when required.

Experience supporting UHNW, private client, executive protection, residential security or sensitive corporate security operations.

Military, police, government, intelligence, corporate security or specialist protective security background.

Experience producing travel risk briefs, event security briefs, residential threat updates, incident reports, persons of concern summaries or protective intelligence assessments.

Experience using open source research, social media monitoring, mapping tools, incident databases or security intelligence platforms.

Understanding of SIA licensing, BS7858 screening, safeguarding, duty of care, GDPR and information handling requirements.
