Overview
Join our vibrant team as a Cafe Assistant/Barista and be the welcoming face of our bustling coffee shop! In this energetic role, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for customers while ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt, attentive service to enhance their experience
Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or barista team
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, snacks, and light meals according to established standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of products and maintain hygiene standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and assist with opening or closing duties as needed

Experience

Previous experience is required;
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is advantageous
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
