Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented part-time cleaner to join our team, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in a day nursery located in Billericay. This role requires independent working, as lone working may be necessary.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Ensure nursery spaces, including playrooms, restrooms, and kitchens, are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Work independently to manage and complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently.
Follow established health and safety cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated time frames.
Restock supplies as needed (e.g., soap, hand towels).

Requirements

Immediate start for the right candidate.
Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in settings like nurseries, schools, or healthcare facilities, is essential.
Comfortable with lone working and able to manage time effectively.
Access to a vehicle is preferred due to the remote nature of the location.
Reliability, attention to detail, and an understanding of hygiene standards for childcare environments is essential.
Availability to work 20 hours per week Monday – Friday from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Right to work in the UK.
