Salary: Grade from: £45,990 to £59,043 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £66,114 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro-rata if part-time).

We have Occupational Therapy pre-registration programmes at BSc and MSc level plus post graduate opportunities. Our pre-registration MSc programme is the only programme outside America to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). With modern, purpose-built teaching facilities, set within a vibrant campus-based University, Brunel provides excellent opportunities to work alongside sector leading academics from a wide range of health-related subjects including Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, Social Work, Physician Associate, Sports Science and Psychology.

Role description and essential person specification competencies

To develop and contribute to high quality learning, teaching, scholarship and student placement support in Occupational Therapy and to provide leadership and academic capacity. To seek to develop and maintain progressive research partnerships between the Occupational Therapy and key collaborators and health research bodies.

Accountable for academic management and administration of learning and teaching programmes delivered by the occupational therapy team and other departments as directed. To provide high quality student support through personal tutoring and other activities as directed. Publication of high-quality research outputs and attainment of research grant income in line with subject benchmarks.

The Occupational Therapy Curriculum is underpinned by person centred care, and we have four threads that guide our teaching and module delivery: Enabling Occupation, Professionalism and Development, Evidence-based Practice and Research and Placements.
