The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Rangiora team.

Hours: 11 hours per week (Monday: 11:00-17:00, Sunday: 10:00-16:00)

Applications Process:

As part of your application, you’ll be asked to complete a short online chat interview. It takes around 15 minutes and gives us a chance to get to know you a bit better

If you’re short on time, no worries — you can save your progress and come back to finish it later. We definitely encourage you to take your time and give the chat questions a good go.

Because the chat interview is part of our selection process, you’ll just need to make sure it’s completed for your application to move through to the next stage.

In this role, you’ll:

Help customers find the right products and sizes, providing a friendly, welcoming experience every day.
Maintain store standards, keeping displays tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
Support operational tasks including point-of-sale transactions, stock replenishment, and daily store duties.
Contribute to team goals, helping the store succeed and supporting your colleagues.

What You’ll Deliver in This Role:

Customer Experience & Sales: Deliver our “Every Day Great Experience” (EDGE) by engaging customers, identifying needs, and providing tailored advice. Achieve personal and team sales targets while upselling and maximising the customer experience.
Store Presentation & Standards: Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented store. Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, and promotions are executed accurately.
Operational Support: Assist with stock, deliveries, and transfers. Follow cash-handling procedures and store security practices. Support opening and closing duties as required.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with your Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and team members. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
