Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice working between three practices , Dyce, Peterculter and Kingswells. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where organisational skills and a welcoming attitude are highly valued.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression of the practice
Manage patient appointments efficiently using the practice management software
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls as appropriate
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes accurately
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
Process payments and organise billing in accordance with practice procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and data entry
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry
Friendly, professional demeanour with a focus on patient care
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of dental practice management software is desirable but not essential
Administrative experience is preferred but training will be provided for suitable candidates

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
