Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in vehicle maintenance and mechanical work to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres on various types of vehicles using hand tools and power tools
Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, recommending repairs or replacements as necessary
Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation and minimise vibrations during driving
Perform tyre maintenance tasks such as inflation, valve replacement, and tread checks
Assist customers with tyre-related enquiries and provide professional advice on tyre selection and maintenance
Use appropriate safety procedures when operating equipment and handling heavy tyres
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use

Qualifications

Tyre Fitting Experience is a Must

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR PLUS OF TYRE FITTING EXPERIENCE

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Experience with vehicle maintenance or tyre fitting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including handling tyres weighing up to 20kg or more
Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions

This role offers an engaging environment for those passionate about automotive care, with opportunities to enhance technical skills while providing excellent service to customers.

Must be Flexible with weekends and also some evenings available as over time!

Pay: £100.00-£750.00 per week
