Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker specialising in Pizza and Artisan Breads to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a love for baking, and experience in food preparation within a professional kitchen setting. Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of pizza doughs, artisan breads, and specialised baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the development of new bread and pizza recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of baked goods during busy periods.
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure the presentation of baked items meets brand standards before serving or packaging.

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or baking within a professional kitchen or bakery environment.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen safety protocols, and food safety standards.
Experience with culinary arts, particularly in baking bread and preparing pizza doughs.
Familiarity with restaurant or bakery operations is desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for baking and creating artisan products that delight customers.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business schedule.
