Full job description

We are a fast-growing independent financial adviser business with principal offices in Birchgrove (Cardiff). We offer independent financial advice and investment management services to private individuals and businesses. We promote quality of service over and above quantity in all areas. We do not advertise, and all of our new clients are referred through existing clients by word of mouth, so service is paramount.

The Role:

We are a team of people for whom customer service is our top priority. The role is based in a busy office environment within a team of administrators. The role of the Administrator itself plays a key part in delivering high standards of service to our clients by providing professional administrative support to our clients and colleagues.

The Offer:

This is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday 9.15 a.m. - 5.15 p.m. Holiday entitlement - 22 days (which will increase to 25 after 3 years of service) plus bank holidays .

Key Responsibilities:

Liaising with paraplanners to gather information and preparing the suitability pack, including applications, to be sent out to our clients.
Liaising with banks, life/pension/investment/mortgage providers, doctors and solicitors to gather progress updates on client products.
Ensuring that the procedure to update a client account has been completed prior to the client arriving for their meeting with the adviser.
Booking client appointments and updating our in-house system, which you will be trained on. General administrative duties including post in and out of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience working in an office environment.
You may have experience within the mortgage / life / pension / investment industry but this is not essential.
You should be comfortable working independently and using your own initiative, as well as contributing to part of a team.
You will be fully trained on all the systems used within the company plus support will be available if you would like to obtain any relevant qualifications.
