Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Therapist to join our salon. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage and reflexology services to clients, helping them relax, recover, and improve their overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your skills in a calming environment, promoting health and relaxation through customised massage treatments.

Responsibilities

Conduct professional massage sessions tailored to each client's specific requirements, including Swedish, deep tissue, or other therapeutic techniques.
Assess clients' needs and develop personalised treatment plans to optimise relaxation and recovery.
Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or self-care practices.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress while respecting confidentiality protocols.
Stay informed about the latest massage techniques and industry developments through continuous professional development.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised after each use.

Requirements

recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or equivalent certification recognised within the industry.
Demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy to deliver safe and effective treatments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently.
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
A professional attitude with a commitment to client care and confidentiality. This role provides a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about promoting health and wellness through expert massage therapy.
