Scaffolder Trainee- Hinkley Point C

Altrad are currently looking for an trainee Scaffolder to join the team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom for the upcoming project.
This role will involve working 10:15-hour shifts on a 10/4 shift pattern, with start date to be confirmed.
The position is paid under ECSA agreements, with lodge and travel paid where applicable. Pay rate: £20.97 basic/h
- Possible opportunity to work on a non-working day (Friday and Monday) at OT rates
*Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week*
Key Deliverables:
- As directed, carry Scaffold duties in a manner that complies with the requirements of both Altrad, and our clients
- Alteration and dismantling types of scaffolding and to drawings,
- Ensure correct preparation of work piece, use and selection of materials.
- Check equipment prior to use and maintain same during work and on completion
- At all times maintaining a professional attitude and in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety obligations
- Assisting our current on site team with required tasks
Key Requirements:
- CISRS Part 1 Trainee Scaffolder Card
- Have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport
- Strong safety awareness
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Customer and site-user awareness
