Brookside Primary Academy, located in Street, Somerset, is a large, inclusive primary school serving children aged 0–11, including dedicated specialist provision and nursery. We are seeking enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our team. We currently have three maternity cover vacancies, starting at different points throughout the year:

About the Role
As a class teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the curriculum across KS1 and KS2.
- Foster a nurturing and positive classroom environment that supports high expectations and a love of learning.
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress, ensuring every child achieves their best.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external partners to support pupils’ development and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and uses positive behaviour strategies effectively.
- Is confident using ICT and interactive learning tools.
- Brings energy, passion and creativity to their teaching.
- Shows a strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and equality of opportunity.
