The Group has grown significantly over the past number of years and has ambitious plans to continue that growth.
The Candidate
Due to further expansion and growth within the Group we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Accounts Receivable Supervisor with good communication skills to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate should be able to take ownership of tasks whilst demonstrating flexibility in supporting the wider team.Previous experience of working within a busy finance team, strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential. The candidate should be able to work with empathy and compassion when liaising with elderly residents and their representatives.The candidate should be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel).
Job role
Supervise the day to day performance and training of the Accounts Receivable team
Adhere to, and implement, all HR policies & procedures.
Carry out formal supervision / appraisal of Staff Members in line with Company policy, and with on-going informal assessment of the work
Support the process of collecting debt and allocating payments
Reviewing and reporting on aged debt position, bank reconciliations and collection of outstanding monies
Ensure sales invoices are raised according to reporting deadlines
Investigation of income analysis to ensure revenue reported is accurate
Income accruals & deferrals and variance to income analysis
Completion and submission of the VAT return
Direct Debit authorisation
Collating of Local Authority contracts & reviewing tender opportunities
Any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
