Catering Manager

We are seeking a Catering Manager to oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of all food and beverage services across our client's site in Yeovil.
This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and engaging dining experience for colleagues while maintaining operational excellence.
Job Description
The successful candidate will manage a wide range of services, including staff restaurants, vending, hospitality, and events such as meetings and social functions.
You will work closely with vendors and stakeholders to drive performance, innovation, and alignment with sustainability and wellbeing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all food service operations, including staff restaurants, cafés, vending, hospitality, and event catering.
- Ensure seamless service delivery through third-party vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics to maintain high service standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between ISS and the client.
- Lead vendor performance reviews and ensure contractual compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with UK food safety regulations, including HACCP and EHO standards.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and manage incident reporting and allergen controls.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and forecasting while identifying cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience managing food operations within a large corporate, hospitality, or campus environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and quality assurance systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Excellent stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and contracts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and enhancing customer experience.
