J Hardy Civils is looking for an experienced and reliable Ganger to join our growing team working across the SSEN network on a variety of civils and utilities works.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating daily activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise site operatives
- Coordinate daily works, labour and plant requirements
- Ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain site standards and productivity
- Liaise with Supervisors and Management teams
- Promote a strong health and safety culture
Essential Requirements:
✔ Previous experience as a Ganger within Civils / Utilities
✔ Full UK Driving Licence – essential
✔ Valid Machine / Plant Tickets – essential
✔ Good communication and leadership skills
✔ Strong understanding of safe working practices
Desirable:
- Experience working in the civils / utilities industry
- CSCS / CPCS / NPORS
- Streetworks qualification
