Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and stick welding on various metal materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
Fabricate components from steel, including cutting, shaping, and assembling parts as required.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for the assembly and fabrication of metal structures.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any fabrication issues.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations.
Operate Fork Lift
Clean driving licence

Experience

Proven experience in welding, specifically MIG and stick welding techniques.
Strong fabrication skills with hands-on experience in working with steel.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding complex assembly processes.
Basic maths skills are required for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about their craft and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
