Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food presentation and safety. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene are maintained at all times.

This hiring is for a brunch place and if carry no experience training will be provided

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure efficient service
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current trends and customer preferences
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed diligently

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Experience in kitchen management, including inventory control and staff scheduling
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in hospitality settings

Passion for culinary arts with a creative flair for presentation and innovation
