The Vale Academy are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to join our academy as soon as possible on a permanent, full time basis.
Do you want to work for a Trust that is transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you.
Your new role
As a Site Supervisor, you will provide general maintenance, cleaning, and security services for the Academy, ensuring all checks are appropriately logged on the Trust’s electronic reporting system. You’ll work as part of a team of two people and will often be working unsupervised on your own initiative.
Whilst the role is 37 hours per week, you’ll work a rotating weekly shift pattern of either mornings or afternoons. Mornings will be 7am until 3pm Monday to Thursday and until 2.30pm on Fridays, and afternoons will be 11am until 7pm Monday to Thursday 11.30am to 7pm on Fridays. There will also be occasional later evenings for events and parents’ evenings which will allow for a later start time. During school holidays, you will typically work 8am until 4pm.
Please see the attached job description on our website for the essential criteria and more information about the role.
If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you.
Your new school
The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2025 outcomes placed the academy first in the local authority with attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths at 77% and 65% respectively and an attainment score of 51.6.
The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
We provide state of the art facilities and an outstanding learning environment for both students and staff. The Vale also offers an extensive and varied programme of extra-curricular activities to support a rich and rounded education, both within and beyond the classroom.
