Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated drivers/cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness for various AirBnb properties that we have in Brighton & Hove. The ideal candidate will ensure environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to contribute to a professional and organised cleaning service.
Responsibilities
- Willing to work 2-5 days per week on weekends and weekdays
- Start time around 10.30am
- Good communication whilst on shift
- Driving is necessary and most of our locations have free parking
- The responsibilities for this role other than just cleaning is attending the storage room and managing all laundry and supplies. This includes: stacking and organising shelves with laundry that's been dropped off, packing and dropping off fresh laundry bags to designated properties at the start of each day so that another cleaner can just go in and perform the changeover, ensuring each property is stocked up with supplies like shower gel etc, reporting any property damage and taking all the dirty laundry back to the storage. Driving is essential for this role.
- When cleaning:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or shortages
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
- Adhere to specific client requests regarding cleaning schedules or special requirements

Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail ensuring thorough cleanliness in all assigned areas
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and safety protocols
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract, Self-employed
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
