Social & Community Manager (High5), Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
The Social & Community Manager is responsible for building High5's social ecosystem, growing a loyal, engaged community across priority platforms. This role will help define how High5 shows up from IRL to URL with a strong focus on building a creator network that generates conversation and conversion.
Working closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional partners, you will drive a consistent creator engine that turns consumer insights, pain points and product truths into content that performs - balancing community growth and nurturing those already with us.
A key part of the role is delivering community activation plans tied to our major sporting events (particularly marathons), bringing relatable runner stories to life across the year, mobilising participation in owned communities and helping activate digital journeys that support runners through training blocks, race day and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own High5’s creator presence with the ambition of being THE Energy & Hydration brand on TikTok
- Source, recruit and manage a roster of creators who can deliver social first content across key pillars
- Brief creators with clear hooks, pain points, product benefits and claims; ensure content ladders up to High5’s comms platform and brand personality through best in class creator toolkits
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns: outreach, negotiation, contracting inputs, product seeding, briefing, approvals, posting schedules, usage rights, and performance wrap-ups
- Social & community lead: own and manage comment strategy, response guidelines, escalation, and proactive engagement to build “community over followers”
- Partner with internal content and e-commerce teams to repurpose best-performing UGC into organic and paid content (e.g., conversion ads, PDP/Amazon assets), ensuring learnings flow back into the content strategy
- Build collaborative relationships with a diverse and inclusive range of community run clubs enabling High5 to fuel them whilst also capitalise on their content creating capability
- Community activation: deliver community activation plans by turning runner stories into a year-round storytelling engine, building participation before, during and after peak moments in conjunction with videographers and content creators
- Help execute programmes that follow inspirational runners through their training block, including content capture expectations, approvals, and permissions/usage rights for organic and paid
- Work with internal stakeholders to translate partnership rights into community moments and comms, ensuring the community experience feels genuinely helpful and not overly sales-led
- Act as the voice of the customer: mine comments, DMs, reviews and creator feedback to identify recurring objections, misconceptions, and content opportunities
- Establish measurement and reporting across social and community activity: content output, engagement, UGC volume, community health, and learnings to inform future briefs
