Lizard are growing! We're looking for a recently graduated Landscape Architect ( BA, BSc or Masters) to join our expanding practice. We're based in Worthing for those who don't know it's close to both Brighton and Eastbourne and just outside the South Downs National Park.
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills in landscape architecture, urban design, and project management within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of projects, from initial concept development through to detailed design and construction documentation. Ideally you'll have a knowledge of CAD / 3D modelling software, alongside an interest in horticulture and sustainable design.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed landscape design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Develop 3D visualisations and models with Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with clients and contractors.
- Contribute to desk based site analysis, land surveying, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
- Prepare plans aligned with client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct research on horticultural practices, sustainable materials, and innovative landscape solutions.
Requirements
- A recognised degree in Landscape Architecture .
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable for site visits and project coordination. This role provides an ideal platform for recent graduates eager to launch their careers in landscape architecture while gaining practical experience across a broad spectrum of projects.
