Job Title: Parts Advisor

Location: Gatwick Honda

About the Role

Join the friendly and supportive team at Gatwick Honda as a Parts Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role within our aftersales department, ensuring customers and technicians receive the right parts at the right time.

As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing parts enquiries, maintaining stock accuracy, and delivering exceptional service to both retail and trade customers. Working within a busy dealership environment, you will become an important part of the team, helping to keep our workshop and customers moving.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm with one Saturday in three paid as overtime.

Key responsibilities include:

Receiving, checking, and storing parts deliveries
Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock checks
Preparing and issuing parts to workshop technicians
Serving retail and trade customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
Identifying and sourcing the correct parts using manufacturer systems
Processing customer orders and arranging deliveries where required
Supporting merchandising and promotional displays within the parts department
Working closely with service, sales, and workshop teams to ensure parts availability
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient parts department
Ensuring all parts transactions are processed accurately and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a parts, automotive, retail, warehouse, or customer service environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Helpful qualities include:

Previous experience in a parts advisor or customer-facing role (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and administrative abilities
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail
A positive and proactive attitude
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
