About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paint Technician & Panel Beater to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of classic Volkswagen campervans, restorations, and bespoke vehicle projects, helping to deliver the high-quality finishes our customers have come to expect. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional paint and bodywork standards while working closely with our skilled workshop team to ensure projects are completed to the highest level of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicles and components for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming surfaces. Mix and apply paints, lacquers, clear coats, and specialist finishes using spray equipment. Carry out accurate colour matching and blending for both standard and custom paintwork. Inspect completed paintwork and rectify any imperfections to achieve a flawless finish. Undertake panel repair and panel beating work as required. Perform light welding tasks to repair or modify body panels and vehicle structures. Work closely with technicians and fabrication teams to coordinate paint and bodywork throughout vehicle conversion projects. Maintain workshop equipment, spray booths, and tools to a high standard. Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Vehicle Painter, Panel Beater, or similar role. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing exceptional quality work. Experience with vehicle preparation, paint application, and body repairs. Basic welding experience would be advantageous. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. Strong time management skills with the ability to complete work efficiently and professionally. A positive attitude and pride in delivering outstanding results. What We Offer
Competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum.
