We are seeking a part time chef, to join our fast paced kitchen and to help with occasional holiday cover. Kitchen experience/ knowledge is preferred but will suit someone willing to learn all as full training will be given. As a chef here you will be required to start early mornings, some starting at 4.30am. This position is currently for two week days with extra shifts readily available.
Duties will include:
Assisting in the preparation of our food, helping with preparing fresh sandwiches and salad bowls each day.
Baking any pastries or cakes for the day.
Learning how to prove/prep our fresh baguettes we get in each morning and baking them.
Full learning of how we make all our patisserie items and savouries fresh on site.
Putting daily deliveries away, ensuring stock rotation is maintained.
Understand the importance of keeping a clean and professional workspace.
