Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely collection/deliver our customers belongings, ensuring that all items are handled with care. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and navigating various routes effectively. The Courier will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in delivery services.

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role, with knowledge of commercial driving practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physically demanding tasks associated with warehouse operations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
Familiarity with navigation systems and local roadways to ensure timely deliveries.
A valid driving licence suitable for operating a van or similar vehicle is essential.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.

Requirements

Load and unload packages, ensuring that heavy lifting is performed safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any necessary documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Assist in warehouse duties as required, including sorting and organising packages for delivery.
