Full job description

Hi!

We are looking for reliable, energetic, and customer-focused bar staff to join our team. The role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar environment, and delivering excellent customer service at all times. You’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner
Take drink orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
Operate tills and handle cash/card payments responsibly
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces, washing glassware
Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
Follow all licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
Handle customer queries, complaints, or issues professionally
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods

Skills & Experience

Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential (training can be provided)
Basic knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar equipment is an advantage but not a deal breaker
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good numeracy skills for handling payments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable and punctual
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Team player with a cooperative mindset
