Ben’s Fire & Feast – Hackenthorpe, Sheffield

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Cashier / Front of House Assistant to join our busy team at Ben’s Fire & Feast in Hackenthorpe.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service and being part of a hardworking team, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties include:

Greeting and serving customers with a friendly attitude.
Taking orders in person and over the telephone.
Operating the till and handling cash/card payments accurately.
Packing takeaway and delivery orders to a high standard.
Basic food handling and assisting with food preparation where required.
Ensuring orders are accurate before they leave the shop.
Keeping the front-of-house area clean, tidy and well presented.
Providing excellent customer service at all times.

What we’re looking for:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, positive and reliable.
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
Good attention to detail.
Previous experience in retail, hospitality or food service is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

Requirements:

Applicants must be aged 17 or over (insurance requirements).
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Must be able to travel to Hackenthorpe for shifts.
