Summary
St Stephen's Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive Attendance & Admin Officer to join our welcoming and ambitious team. This is a rewarding role for a skilled professional who combines excellent administrative and organisational skills with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and improving attendance, supporting admissions processes and contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of the school office. Working closely with school leaders, staff, families and external agencies, you will analyse attendance information, coordinate attendance procedures, support vulnerable pupils and provide a professional, efficient and welcoming service to our school community.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of administrative work and managing office systems
- Is highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Communicates confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
- Can work with data to identify trends and take appropriate action
- Shares our commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high standards for all children
- Is motivated by making a difference for vulnerable children and families
