Part-time – 21 hours per week | Fixed term until end of January 2027

£17,035 per annum, based on FTE £30,015

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring every voice is heard? We’re looking for a Customer Feedback Officer to join our Customer Experience team and play a key role in shaping how we learn from and respond to customer feedback.

About the role

As our Customer Feedback Officer, you will manage customer complaints and compliments from start to finish, ensuring every interaction is handled fairly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders to resolve issues, identify learning opportunities, and continuously improve our services.

Key responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end complaints and feedback process, from initial contact to resolution
Investigate complex and sensitive issues, gathering evidence and working with internal teams
Build strong relationships with customers, keeping them informed and supported throughout
Liaise with external stakeholders such as MPs, Councillors, and the Housing Ombudsman
Analyse feedback trends and produce reports to drive service improvement
Promote a culture of learning from feedback across the organisation
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data protection requirements (GDPR)
Maintain accurate records and support performance reporting

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in customer service or feedback/complaints handling
Skilled at managing complex and sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
A strong communicator who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences
Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused
Passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes
