Production Co-Ordinator / Setter- Operator
LML Products Ltd was established in Calne in 1968. Our core business activities are the manufacture of standard and bespoke copper connections and terminations for electrical & electronic applications.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated person to join our busy manufacturing team. You will play a key role in supporting the production process, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered to the highest quality standards.
Location: LML Products Ltd, Unit L1, Redman Road, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9PL
Salary: £12.21 - £17.00 / hour
Hours: Full-Time 40hrs / week, Monday to Friday. (Friday 1.45pm)
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate, manage & prioritise workflow through our NSP division from scheduling documentation.
- Operate and set a variety of machine tools and production equipment related to metal cropping, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, deburring and press brakes etc safely and efficiently
- Working from engineering drawings to manufacture products according to specifications and to quality requirements
- Using measuring equipment to check and verify dimensions
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our high quality standards are maintained and in line with our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation
- Adhere to company health and safety protocol & procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines
About You
- Previous experience in a production manufacturing capacity is an essential requirement for this position. Equipment training will be provided. Familiarity with press-brakes (including CNC), punching and cropping machines would be extremely beneficial for this role
