Landscape Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

A permanent Landscape Maintenance Supervisor role with a view to move into the management role, based in Banwell, North Somerset. With travel across the South West.

Your new role

As a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor you will have general responsibility for ensuring that all sites are maintained to the high-standards and are reflective of our core values.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for excellent development prospects and aspiring to move further into management at a fast pace.

This role will include full training in the management role, with support and skills development in working on site and in management.

The Landscape Maintenance Manager is accountable for:

Manage planned maintenance works – ensuring all work is carried out in line with client instruction, agreed plans, to specification and to our high standards. This includes grass cutting, weeding, hedge cutting, pruning, litter picking and clearance works.
Develop and grow maintenance programme - Develop and maintain a programme for clients/sites. Create rounds based on locations and time frames and book in adhoc works. Create strong customer relationships to become the 'go-to' person for all site maintenance works as a manger working on the tools and in the office.
QHSE – ensure that all work is delivered to a high-quality and all site and company health and safety standards / policies at all time are adhered to.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have:

CSCS Card & Driving License - ESSENTIAL
2 years’ commercial or construction maintenance experience - ESSENTIAL
Hold PA1 and PA6 tickets
Familiar with site health and safety requirements
Ability to read and interpret landscaping / fencing drawings
Horticultural knowledge will be beneficial but support will always be available
Time management and problem solving skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Leaderships skills – with a style that is suitable for effective collaboration
Confident in dealing effectively with clients/customers
Able to work in the capacity of a mentor to the wider team

Please note if you are required to drive company vehicles as part of your role, you must hold a full UK driving licence. You must also hold valid right to work within the UK.

What you’ll get in return

A salary of £18 per hour on a 45 hour week starting as a supervisor with increases accordingly as management is undertaken.
