Design is at the heart of what makes Loungers, Loungers. Every site has character, story, and craft designed into it and that's where you come in. This role will join our small team of talented creatives who are responsible for the design and delivery of all the brands within Loungers (Lounge, Cosy Club, and Brightside). This role exists to support the design team in delivering every project to the same high standard our sites are known for.
The Junior designer will be aiding the design team in drawing plans for new openings and refurbs across the Loungers brand as well as communicating these designs to the wider teams and contractors. The role will include technical drawings for example, lighting plans, flooring plans, elevations etc, as well as bespoke one-off pieces and highly detailed designs. The role requires a firm attention to the details in design to deliver the best possible finishes that are true to the original design. The Junior designer will work across multiple fast paced projects and must be highly organised.
This is a rare chance for a talented junior designer to join a creative team contributing to new site openings and refurbishments that thousands of people will visit and love. This is an office-based role working from our friendly office in central Bristol.

About us
Loungers is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector, operating over 300 sites in England and Wales across three distinct but complementary brands, Lounges, Cosy Club, and Brightside. Founded in 2002 by three friends who wanted to create a neighbourhood caf-bar that they would want to go to, the Group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK and has consistently outperformed the wider UK hospitality sector over the past three years. Despite being the fastest growing caf/restaurant group in the Country, Loungers has retained its entrepreneurial spirit and quirky 'Loungey' local community atmosphere.
We want to work with kind people so if you want to work hard, have fun and be part of the Loungers ride, we'd love to have you. Apply today and let's chat!
