We have opportunities hosting various events in our facilities including:
Soft Play:
The Event Host will supervise party areas, ensure health and safety procedures are followed, prepare and serve drinks, and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout each event.
Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust venues:
The Event Host will open and close up venues, cleaning as necessary. Answering questions, directing people towards different facilities and ensure events are well managed.
We are looking for someone with:
- A friendly, welcoming manner; confident working with all members of our wonderful community particularly families.
- Well connected to or living in the local area (or a solid understanding of the needs of our community).
- Experience working in hospitality services is desirable as this is a customer facing role.
- Attention to detail and strong sense of pride in providing high levels of cleanliness
- We are seeking a person with flexibility to cover events that happen over weekends and evenings
- Reliable and trustworthy
Role Details:
Hours: Casual Worker Contract (Zero-hours)
Contract term: Ongoing depending on bookings
Location: LNT Buildings (Play Patch, The Hub, St James) – depending on bookings
Salary: £13.45 per hour
We aim to be a Living Wage Employer
Reporting to: Play Patch manager, LNT Operations Manager, Community Centre Coordinator
Holiday entitlement: 12.07% paid as an uplift on hours worked
Other Information: We run a three-month probationary period.
