Reports To: Contracts Manager
Location: Based in Bristol with projects across the UK (Travel Required)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £20/hour, with potential for a higher rate depending on experience and suitability.
Schedule: The role is primarily Monday to Friday, though occasional weekend work may be required in line with project deadlines or site schedules
Licence/Certification: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (required) & Full Driving Licence

Our sites include supermarkets and cafes to high street shops — often live environments or under tight programme deadlines. What You Will Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day site operations on fast-track retail fit-outs
- Coordinating subcontractors, materials, deliveries and logistics
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards and site compliance at all times
- Working hands-on where required — leading by example as a working foreman
- Monitoring progress, reporting updates and addressing challenges promptly
- Ensuring snag-free handovers and completion within tight programme deadlines
- Keeping all required documentation (site diaries, permits, sign-offs) up to date
- Representing the company on site in a professional and approachable manner
What You Will Need
- Proven experience in retail or cafe fit-out projects, ideally with repeat-brand experience (Costa, Starbucks, Greggs, etc.)
- Carpentry or joinery background with the ability to work hands-on when required
- SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black) and First Aid at Work (FAAW) certification
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple fast-moving sites or phases of work
- Flexibility to travel and work nationwide as required
- Clean UK driving licence and valid right to work in the UK
Bonus If You Have
- Experience delivering brand rollouts or repetitive retail refurbishments
- Familiarity with client sign-off processes and snag management
- Knowledge of digital site management tools (e.g. Field View, Procore, PlanGrid)
