Herschel Infrared Ltd is a dynamic and high growth international company manufacturing and supplying energy efficient, stylish, and sustainable electric heating solutions which can be powered by renewable energy.
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team on a part-time basis. This is a permanent position working 2 days per week, ideal for someone looking for a flexible role within a friendly and growing business.
Flexible days by arrangement, Pension, Onsite parking.
Working closely with our finance team, duties will include:
- Processing and inputting supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Resolving supplier queries and liaising with internal teams.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Assisting with payment runs and general ledger maintenance.
- Supporting the wider finance function as required.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role. This would suit someone with a solid understanding of the end-to-end AP process who is comfortable working independently and managing their own workload across a part-time schedule. Good attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
Experience with Business Central or a similar accounting system would be an advantage.
