A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed GIS Analyst to join Bristol City Council’s (BCC) GIS Team.
You will have excellent skills in geospatial data management, analysis and presentation. We are looking for experience in the following areas:
Creation, integration and publication of map services and geospatial data visualisations using web mapping applications.
Using multiple geospatial data formats and knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) applications to manage data transformations and integrations.
Managing Open Data, metadata and maintaining a Local Land and Property Gazetteer.
You must also have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a logical and methodical manner.
