Due to growth in our service, we are looking for Support Workers to join the team on a development pathway to become a Support Navigator. In this role, you will make a difference by providing support to individuals with a mental health diagnosis or learning difficulty with the objective of supporting their journey to increased independence.

Role details

Hours: 37.5 hours per week either Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday to Thursday

Salary: Starting salary is £24,784.50.

There is an option to work a sleep-in shift once you have completed your induction period. If you take on a sleep-in the salary will be £31,393.70.

What will you be doing?

Supporting a number of individuals (service users) within the community achieve positive outcomes on their journey to independence. You will also:

Complete and review support plans / clear task plans / risk management plans whilst delivering creative, flexible and, outcomes driven support
Support the implementation of service users' personal goals and ensure monthly KPI targets are met
Actively communicate with external healthcare professionals / build strong relationships with family members
Enable service users to access and participate in their local community
Define & oversee individual and communal budgets and finances
Raise safeguarding referrals when required with relevant local authorities
Provide help with the upkeep of a client’s property

What will you bring to the role:

As Support Worker you will have:

Experience working with people in some capacity, whether in a professional or personal context
Values that align with supporting individuals with compassion and positivity
Resilience to handle challenging situations while maintaining a supportive approach
Excellent communication skills and the ability to advocate effectively for others
Organised approach to managing a diverse caseload
