Full job description

This is a fixed term (1 month) summer internship in Radiotherapy Physics to carry out a project relating to radiotherapy service development and gain experience working in a Radiotherapy Physics department.

There will be opportunities to gain experience in Medical Physics throughout the duration of the role, and contribute to some routine aspects of radiotherapy service delivery whilst under the supervision of Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists in the department.

Graduates and/or students planning to apply to the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Radiotherapy are particularly encouraged to submit their application.

This is a fixed term (1 month) post for an intern in radiotherapy physics to carry out a project relating to radiotherapy service development.

There will be opportunities to gain experience in Medical Physics throughout the duration of the role, and contribute to some aspects of radiotherapy service delivery whilst under the supervision of Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists in the department.

Assist under supervision with administration tasks related to treatment planning.

Assist under supervision with the quality control of Radiotherapy Treatment machines and other equipment.
