Start Date: 18 August 2026
Teach the subject you love. Inspire young people. Enjoy the benefits of a vibrant and inclusive sixth form college.
St Brendan's Sixth Form College is seeking a passionate Teacher of IT and digital skills to join our thriving department, with the opportunity to collaborate with and contribute to Computer Science as part of a supportive department. There is the opportunity to develop into teaching Computer Science at KS5, with full support, shared planning and subject-specific CPD.
Whether you are an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher, or a digital professional considering a move into education, this is an opportunity to teach post16 students in a highly supportive environment where your focus can remain on excellent teaching and learning. Your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and commitment to working as part of a team are more important than prior experience across the full computing curriculum.

Benefits of the role include:

- No tutor group responsibilities
- No break or lunchtime duties
- Dedicated pastoral and progress tutor teams
- Timetabled student support and enrichment rather than after hours
- Collaborative planning and shared resources

- Flexible working opportunities, including part-time and job-share arrangements
