LOCATION: THE PODIUM, Bath

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 42 hours per week

PAY RATE: £14.50 per hour

Job Overview: ABM UK is seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, visitors, and employees. Your responsibilities will include patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.
Operate and monitor security equipment such as CCTV systems and alarms.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors as needed.
Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

Valid SIA Security Guard licence is essential.
Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
Excellent communication and observational skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
Good physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
Strong customer service skills.
