We are looking for a warm, positive person to join our friendly team at the Holburne Museum Cafe. With our expanding popularity and Café we need someone who is reliable, passionate about food, good service and available to work weekdays and weekends. We need someone who steps up to support and develop the team around them. Shifts are 9:30am-5pm (times are very flexible) at £13.50 an hour with the opportunity to work overtime and occasional evening work available. We can provide barista training and level 2 food safety and hygiene qualification. You will work safely and in a hygienic way ensuring high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety policies & procedures.
Our food ethos is simple - it must be tasty and honest. Great food comes from great ingredients so we will always champion local producers and eating food in season. We cook from scratch using fresh, authentic and natural ingredients.
Duties
- Greeting and serving customers
- Keeping good food hygiene standards
- Assist with cleaning the café at the end of the day
- Filling out cleaning schedule
- Assisting washing up
- Checking and recording serving temperatures
Essential:
- A team player
- Well organised under pressure
- Enthusiasm
- Good communicator
- Passionate about good food, coffee and service
- Barista experience (preferred)
