Customer Service Advisor – Courier & Logistics
Location: Bristol
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00

Priority Express is part of the award-winning APC Overnight network, with over 100 depots nationwide. Operating from Bristol, Bath, and Cardiff, we provide a full range of same day, overnight, and international delivery services.

As a well-established and ambitious regional business, we pride ourselves on delivering high service standards and building strong, long-term relationships with our customers.

The Role

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Bristol-based team. Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent service delivery, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the smooth operation of our courier services.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in a fast-paced, business-to-business customer service environment who enjoys problem-solving and delivering a high standard of communication.

Key Responsibilities

Handling inbound calls from customers, depots, and drivers
Providing quotations to both existing and prospective customers
Identifying customer requirements and recommending appropriate services
Booking collections and deliveries over the telephone
Managing customer queries and escalating issues where required
Liaising closely with the operations team to maintain service performance
Coordinating with external service providers

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service at all times.

You will have:

Previous experience in a telephone-based customer service role (B2B preferred)
Strong communication skills, both phone and email
A confident and professional manner
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Good IT skills and confidence in learning new systems
Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service (B2B essential)
Experience within the courier, logistics, or parcels industry is advantageous
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) preferred
Customer service qualifications are beneficial but not essential

Pay: £28,730.00 per year
