Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent coffee, customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry, working in a fast-paced yet rewarding setting. Applicants should be organised, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Take customer orders accurately and process transactions using the till system.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, counters, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Restock supplies as needed and organise stock for easy access during busy periods.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and professionally.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

Previous Barista experience.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
Basic food preparation skills are beneficial.
Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Strong basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
