Recruitment & Development Officer
Location: Multi-Site Role | Selca Day Nurseries
Hours: 25–37.5 Hours Per Week
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence, Own Vehicle and Business Insurance Required
Selca Day Nurseries is a rapidly expanding childcare organisation operating across five settings throughout South Wales, employing a team of over 70 staff.
We are seeking an organised, professional and people-focused Recruitment & Development Officer to support the continued growth, development and retention of our workforce.
This is a unique multi-site role supporting employees across all Selca settings. Rather than being based within one nursery, you will work across the organisation, building strong relationships with employees, Nursery Managers and senior leaders while helping to shape the employee experience from recruitment through to career development.
The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting talented individuals to the organisation, supporting apprentices and employees throughout their development journey, helping tell our story through social media and creating a positive, ambitious and engaging workplace culture.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be interviewing a future Nursery Manager, the next delivering an induction, supporting an apprentice review, capturing content for social media or helping a team celebrate a success.
We're looking for someone who is just as comfortable sitting in an interview as they are walking into a messy play activity, chatting with a practitioner about their career goals, capturing content for social media or supporting a team training event.
You'll be visible across our settings, building relationships, celebrating successes and helping both our people and our organisation continue to grow.
If you love working with people, enjoy building relationships, aren't afraid to get stuck in and want to help shape the future of a growing childcare organisation, this could be the perfect role for you.
