Full job description

J Mould (Reading) is a specialist demolition, decontamination and recycling contractor with more than 50 years’ experience of multi-disciplined project management and execution. Family-owned and managed, the company is known for its exceptional levels of customer service.

We are currently seeking CCDO Demolition Supervisors for an immediate start to help us meet the demands of our growing workload. The successful candidates will report into the Demolition Contracts Manager, and will be responsible for overseeing and managing demolition projects from start to finish, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate demolition teams on-site.
- Ensure all demolition activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, site personnel, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain high standards or safety and ensure all team members follow proper procedures.
- Manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during demolition works.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor or similar role in the industry.
- Valid CCDO Gold Card (or relevant demolition qualification)
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification is essential.
- Strong knowledge of asbestos awareness and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

Competitive rates of pay, depending on experience, and a company vehicle will be provided.
